Dan "Al" Jenkins
Al joined our team in the spring of 1999. He came to work for Pontz Landscape Service
after graduating from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center where he was
enrolled in the Landscape Technology program. Al began as a crew member but his talent
in water garden construction allowed him to quickly become promoted to the position of
Crew Leader. He has also become proficient in outdoor low- voltage lighting and has
attended numerous training seminars.
Al's interests include hiking, fishing, hunting and football among his many interests. In his
free time he enjoys working on stereo electronics, archery and watching television. Al
resides near Lancaster with his wife Heidi and daughter Taylor and son Cole.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job he replied, "the gratification you receive
from working with nature".
